SICO is the general term for a number of new features to new as well as familiar actuator systems. Due to the product name PA (plugged actuator) instead of EA, the actuators that are compatible with the SICO technology are instantly recognizable for the user because of the SICO PLUG System. The SICO PLUG is a compact connector developed by SIMON PROtec which perfectly supports the production of the connection cable and the start-up of the entire system. The SICO PLUG is delivered with numerous components and can be configured to the customer's specifications. The plug can be used for different cable cross-sections and individual or dual connections for the respective actuator. The SICO PLUG provides room for cables with up to 6 wires and 0.75 mm² cross-section and allows therefore all kinds of connection possibilities.

We will upgrade our complete range of actuators to SICO PLUG and further develop it during 2020. The Folding Arm² PA-KL² will paving the way. At the same time, we will launch a new synchronizing software which is based on SICO-BUS Technology. Actuators that have been synchronized by this software communicate via BUS within their group and control the running performance. The necessary adjustments can be made easily at the actuator without extra supply voltage by using the SICO LINK Software. Developing this technology, it was very important for us to be able to program an actuator or two actuators with synchro function on the window without having to use the software. Having connected the COM1 and COM2 communication lines, the zero position, the direction of rotation (PA-KL²-DF and PA-KL²-T) as well as MASTER and SLAVE for synchro function can be set in no time at all.
In the following months, the SICO BUS system will be integrated in various part of the whole system and in combination with building management system (BMS). The smoke and vent panels M-SHEV and SHEV will be communicating directly with the PA actuators for ventilation and parameterization. In case of emergency, the polarity switch will remain as top priority for the AOV
Get to know the new SICO technology, for instance with the Folding Arm² PA-KL² and the supplementary locking device Supplementary electric locking PA-ZV-UNI. Your existing SIMON LINK licence will remain active. All you need is the new software Products and the SICO-USB-110. For the initial operation of actuators with plugs we offer the new SICO-PLUG-INSTALL. The SICO-PLUG-INSTALL is a kit of a special and ergonomic designed SICO PLUG connector for the support of various installation services. You can connect a 3 wire or 6 wire cable for a faster commissioning, cable length upon your needs.
