At SIMON PROtec, we have always put great emphasis on social commitment and charitable work. In order to fulfil our social responsibility, we have been involved in various social projects for many years and have supported charitable institutions and associations out of fundamental conviction.
Therefore, we are particularly proud that we were invited to this year's company competition organised by the „Wirtschaftsregion Passau" and were awarded in the category 'Social Commitment'.
Representatives from over 30 companies gathered at the Vilshofen Technology Campus on Tuesday, 5th of November, to intently listen to the words and praise from Landrat Raimund Kneidinger and other speakers in the three categories 'Sustainability', 'Employee friendliness' and 'Social commitment'.
Out of a total of 13 applicants in the category 'Social Commitment', we could impress the jury with our social and charitable projects and were presented with the award by our laudatory speaker, Deacon Niederländer from Caritas.
In his laudatory speech, Mr Niederländer emphasized the outstanding social awareness of our company, citing our cooperation with the Caritas workshops, the Kinderschutzbund and the BR Sternstunden campaign as just a few of the many examples of our social commitment.
We say a special „thank you" to the organisers of the competition from the „Wirtschaftsregion Passau" and especially to our employees for their daily social engagement.
The award is not only a great honour for us,it is also an immense motivation to remain aware of our social responsibility in the future and to face up to it anew every day.
