We are making our wind and rain detectors even safer: from now on, the high-quality sensor circuit board will be galvanically coated with gold.  In this method, almost ten times more gold is applied than in the similar process of chemical gold plating. Weather, dirt and bird droppings can no longer harm an galvanic gold layer. Unbeatable for continuous use, as exposed locations such as airports are often subject to permanent air pollution.

Thanks to the galvanic gold coating, the triggering devices are now even more dirt-resistant and durable. And therefore not only more reliable, but also more sustainable.
WTS-892 and WS-890 become WRD and RD

The wind rain detector WRD series (Wind & Rain Detector) replaces the previous WTS-892 series from today on, while the Rain detector RD series (Rain Detector) replaces the previous WS-890 series. These new series are fully compatible with previous SIMON PROtec control technology and can be connected to control panels at the "WTS" connection as usual.
