By means of a sophisticated fire-control matrix, the fire alarm system and the connected smoke exhaust units automatically operate a corresponding scheme after fire and smoke detection. Rescue routes open via door openers and smoke exhaust systems through appropriate opening actuators. In addition, the firefighters are alerted as soon as possible to actively intervene in the action and to fight the fire. Therefore, it is essential that the responsible officer-in-charge receives full control of the fire object after his arrival. For this purpose, SIMON PROtec Systems is offering a new upgrading for the digital modular control panel M-SHEV. The inputs emergency button, smoke detector and fire alarm system can be used to set the various automatic schemes via the priority function. For example, the fire alarm system can first close the exhaust flaps, with the local smoke detector reopening the single window. But now the fire department should decide which flap is opened or closed.

Additional SI-100 module for overwriting of alarms

The additional SI-100 MASTER module generates a higher-level SHE group that can overwrite all alarms present. This is possible in the direction of ON as well as in the direction of OFF. To do this, the SI-100 MASTER module must be integrated into the respective groups. It is operated via the firemans override, which is secured against foreign access via a key. When activated, the officer-in-charge can individually override the assigned SHE groups and thus adapt to his tactical tactics. The standard key can be stored in the fire department key box.
