The BI-100-MB BUS interface is an add-on module for the M-SHEV modular control center. It connects the internal BUS with an external network within a building control system based on ModBus TP.
The BI-100-MB acts as a firewall between the systems, so that in terms of safety the internal system around the SHEV functions are not affected in case of emergency. The BUS interface provides and receives data from an external ModBus master. It provides all information and status messages which are also available to the MI-100 signalling interface. As a receiver, the BI-100-MB generates up to 32 virtual vent buttons, which can be freely assigned to the ventilation groups within the M-SHEV. These vent button are controlled by ModBus commands with OPEN, CLOSE and STOP.

BUS interface BI-100-MB
Provides digital connection of the M-SHEV with an external BUS of the building control system based on MODBUS TP (twisted pair) with a speed of 300 - 57600 bps. Optional WatchDog can be activated. All M-SHEV states are made available to the BUS. In addition, up to 32 free virtual fan buttons can be configured and used in the system.
