The modular ventilation control unit M-VENT-5-AP is a modular electrical control unit for flexible ventilation concepts. Output modules for controlling 24 V DC actuators (alternatively also 230 V AC actuators) and message interfaces can be freely combined if required. With the M-VENT-5-AP, up to two free module units can be added. The modules are "flat" design for easier installation for DIN rail mounting and have the same size (106 x 60 x 38 mm). Each module is connected to the central power supply for power and connected in series with the internal BUS via network cable with RJ45 connector. The NC units and peripheral devices are connected via tension spring clips.
The M-VENT-5-AP is supplied with the standard software settings. Additional functions such as automatic closing, night ventilation, delayed opening, etc. can be set freely via the SIMON-Link software interface. On request, the M-VENT is delivered with the desired functions already preset. The modules can be named using the SIMON-LINK parameterization software (e.g Hall 1, Hall 2, ...) and identified at the push of a button via a visual display.
The ventilation center consists of a basic unit of basic modules. These communicate with each other via an internal BUS communication, whereby an individual parameterization (factory and customer side) is possible. The basic modules are the MI-100 signaling interface, the ZI-100 central interface, the BI-100-MB BUS interface and the MR-120-V motor relay. Each module has the different LED indicators for alarm, ok and fault.

The M-VENT (Modular Ventilation) ventilation control panel is an electrical control device in a sheet steel housing with power supply and all control and regulation electronics for the operation of 24 V DC actuators for daily aeration and ventilation. Ventilation signals from ventilation buttons, wind / rain detectors and central ventilation commands (e.g. building management system) can be processed. The basic M-VENT control system consists of three different components (optionally up to five): power supply (switching power supply), central interface ZI-100, motor relay MR-120, message interface MI-100 (optional) and bus interface BI-100 (optional).
